The Netherlands national football team was one of the 32 teams that participated in the World Cup in 2014. It was with Italy, one of the first two European teams to qualify for the contest mundialista.1 This was his tenth participation in third consecutive world and from Germany 2006
Netherlands contested the UEFA qualifiers in Group D, obtained directly and ranking first in their group. He ended his participation undefeated with nine wins and a draw being the team with the best performance of the tournament, along with the selection of Germany, to obtain 28 points in game 30 and a yield of 93.3%. Netherlands ensured their presence in Brazil 2014 with two games ahead, beating Andorra La Vella at Andorra 2-0 on 10 September 2013.2
